I grew up in a small town in central Kansas named McPherson. It was a good place to live as a child, and still has that small town charm.

High School Name (City, State)
McPherson High School. I was a scholar and spent a lot of time on musical activities. Played in the band and had a dixieland band. We called our little dixieland band "The Saints", and you guessed it, our theme song was "When The Saints Go Marching In".
College Name
Ottawa University. Graduated in 1961 with a major in Social Sciences. Major was history, with a minor in sociology and psychology.
College Graduation Year
Graduation year was exciting for me. I married my college sweetheart between my junior and senior years. Found out near graduation time that I was going to be a daddy.
College Graduation Major/Concentration
One of the areas of concentration (outside of my major) was education. I took enough education hours to receive a secondary school teaching certificate.
Occupation(s)
If you saw my resume you would say "Keith, you sure couldn't keep a job." I have been many things, including a school teacher, a management trainee for a fortune 500 company, a salesman of several different types, a bank officer, a state of Kansas manager, a real estate broker, an accupunturist, and a minister. I have enjoyed such a varied work life, and learned in each position I filled. Life and work can be very interesting.
I enjoy traveling and have been to both coast, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Traveled to Brazil six times, and may go back.

I am a widower, was married many years. I now am beginning to make a new life for myself. Starting over isn't easy, but it sure is interesting.

Activities

I sing in the Topeka Men's Chorus, and in The West Lawrence Singers. I play the Dembe drum. I ride a mountain bike, but not up mountains. I like to dance. ballroom and swing. In 1999 I began training in auriculotherapy (accupuncture of the ear), and in 2004 I became nationally certified. I have retired though, and no longer treat patients. Traveling is one of my favorite activies. Last year I took two trips to Colorado, one to Albany, NY, and one to Longview and Seattle, Washington. Went over from Port Angeles to Victoria, Canada during the stay there.
