About

Relationship
In a serious relationship. Interested in meeting people for friendship
Hometown
Macon, GA & Parsons, KS
Places I've been
Yes, I listed two... Macon is where I grew up and my family still lives. Parsons is where I lived for 26 years and raised my 5 sons... their hometown, and mine too if memories count! I attended College in Wilmore, Kentucky, and lived in Clarksville, Tennesee for a short time just after I married.I have been in Virginia now for three and one half years and have yet to think of it as home.
More about me

The Professional ME:

I have over 20 years of experience as a trainer, consultant and Child care giver. During this time, I’ve delivered over 1000 hours of child care training, successfully mentored over 30 Child Development Associate candidates, served as Director of a child care center, piloted training specific to child care Directors, and served on the boards of several early childhood organizations.

I have provided training to all levels of child care professionals, from those just starting their first Child care experience, to students enrolled in Community College programs for early childhood education. I’ve offered classes through two community colleges and collaborated with three others to provide quality early childhood classes or CEU (continuing education units) courses for teachers of young children.

My experience also extends to chairing both local and statewide early childcare and education conferences.

The Mother ME:

My five wonderful sons are my  greatest joy. They are scattered from coast to coast now, with one in California, two in Virginia and two in Kansas.  They  are good sons and good citizens. Eli just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. Caleb is in College and the others are working andstarting their own lives as independent adults.

People often ask if I regret not having had daughters. No. It has been a wonderful expereince to  raise a large family of boys. I am honored to  have been given the  task.
