My profile name is "anakris" my real name is Christine. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and lived here most of my life but my favorite place in the whole world is anywhere the sun is shining. I especially love the Caribbean for vacations (when I can afford them). Someday I would like to visit Europe and maybe even Australia. At 61 I sometimes feel I'm in unchartered waters not knowing exactly what life will bring next. I have accomplished a number of goals in my life and am presently the Manager of a Social Services facility. Along the way I have met many wonderful people and even won a few awards. But, probably the hardest job of all was raising my twin sons. I enjoy being with people especially when it comes to vacations and outings. I like reading psychology, biographies and travel magazines. When it comes to movies I'm pretty much a serious drama fan. I also enjoy live theatre horse racing and car races. I am a great cook and am always experimenting with new recipes. Friends are sometimes amazed at what I can cook up. Having an art background (Fine Arts in college) I enjoy painting as a past time. I learned Norwegian Rosemaling 20 years ago and am still doing it today. As for the future I would really like to marry again and spend the rest of my life with someone I love and respect.
