More about me

I am 56 years old but refuse to grow old. I have been married twice. The first one (1973 to 1981) ended after 8 years and 4 boys later. Unfortunately my first wife died January 2007 at the age of 51, God rest her soul. I was married for 18 years the second time and lived with her for a total of 25 years. She moved out after I caught her cheating in February 2007 and now we are divorced.

They say that there is always a silver lining to the dark clouds in our life. Well since she left in March '07 I have gotten much closer to my four boys as well as my family in general.

I had a severe motorcycle accident in 1982 (elderly lady was on the wrong side of the road and hit me head on) which permenantly reduced the use of my right arm (see Blog) and damaged my left knee. I was on SS disability for 5 years but went back to work.

I had an automobile accident in May 2007 where I collapsed 2 vertebra in my back. After getting that fixed they found that I also need my left hip replaced and that was done in the end of October 2007. They then found that I have a problem in the lumbar region of my lower back which is causing a nerve problem and pain down my leg. I am now on Social Security Disability again and getting my life back on track :^))

I have recently joined a gym and they are helping me work on the machines so I can improve my health without hurting my body any more :^))

I wanted to make friends and that is why I joined Eons.  Well without trying I have met a lovely lady here, DEBBABS, and I am trying to tie up my affairs here in Charlotte so I can move to Texas.  I enjoy playing pool, I started about 8 years ago and have joined the APA Pool league but I had to quit because of the accident.  I started back a couple sessions ago.

I take care of my 3 dogs, a whippet, black mix breed and a Sheltie.
