After birth I lived in Philadelphia, Pa until 1946 when we moved to Germany as part of the occupation force. We returned in 1949 to Fort Bliss, Tx and from there moved to Alexandria and subsequently Falls Church, Va. In 1956 it was off the Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Al and then Livorno Italy in 1958. Following Italy we moved to Paris and then Izmir Turkey where I graducated high school in 1962. Finishing my first year of college at Robert College Istanbul Turkey we returned to Tooele Army Depot, Ut in 1984. From there we headed to Melborne Florida where after two years I joined the Army. My military career included assignments at Fort Benning Ga, Fort Dix, NJ, Fort Gordon, GA for OCS, Mineral Wells, TX, An Loc and LiKai RVN. Following my combat tour in Viet Nam I returned to Fort Dix for a command tour with the 5th CIT Brigade, before going to the Signal Corps Advance Course at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Following gratuation I was assigned to Fort Bliss Tx, Scofield Barracks Hi, and in 1976 to Fort Bragg NC 1st PsyOps Bn JFK Center. In 1979 I was deployed to the 1st Armored Div 1st Bde at Illeshiem Ge just out sided Ansbach and Rothenburg before becoming part of the CincEur Staff in Heidelburg Ge. Returning to the US in 1984 I committed to retire and was assigned to Fort McClennon, Al. Following retirement in 1986 I returned to Huntsville Al and joined the Boeing Corporation as a Project Planner. In 2004 after 19 years I elected to retire from Boeing and joined SAIC. I eventually left SAIC to become a consultant. In 2007 my wife and I put the job market and work place behind us and fully retired. We now enjoy a retired life style traveling in our motor home when it suits us and watching the Canada Geese on our lake when it doesn't.
- More about me
-
I am the son of a military family and am myself retired from the Army and the Boeing Corporation before starting a consulting career. My wife and I love to travel mostly to the western states though the New England states hold a special facination for me. We love Europe and visit as often as money permits. I am open and as honest as society, good conduct, and courtisy/respect for the feelings of others permit. I don't like drug dealers and do believe in capital punishment. I believe we are, ourselves, the biggest stumbling block to achieving our goals in life and often lack the committemt it takes to attain them. I believe many of us think we are owed a living or lifestyle, and that our safety is the responsibility of others and do nothing for oursleves but complain. I believe in the right of every citizen to be able to speak his or her mind without reprecution as long as they retain responsibility for their words or actions. I believe in the right to own guns and use them in defense of our homes, property, loved ones and freedom.
My wife and I married, for the second time, in Paris France and plan to return for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the taking of our vows for a third time.
My wife and I both enjoy photography, a hobby our desire to travel has enhanced.

The only thing between you and success is you; taking the first step is often more difficult than than completing the journey; Lead, Follow, or get the hell out of the way; the only thing we have to fear is fear itself; sometimes it is better to let the world think you are stupid then it is to open your mouth and removed all doubt; silence is golden
