About Me

I am an elementary teacher who now works for a non-profit in MN (Happy Dancing Turtle), teaching people about sustainable living. I get to work with people from 2 to 92, doing all sorts of fun & interesting things, like learning about recycling, making paper, playing in the mud (a natural building material), preserving food, recycling stuff into other stuff, and cleaning out the composting toilet on our campus. (not my favorite, but very interesting!) At home, I am married to a wonderful guy who works with developmentally disabled adults as a job coach. He is also a musician, and occasionally performs, and gives lessons. We have 7 cats and 2 dogs, who are our "children".
