Came to the U.S. when I was 2 yrs. old. Kennedy was President then. My sister was born 9 days later and my parents named her Jacqueline, after the First Lady. I grew up in Miami, Florida and when I was 11 yrs. old, we moved to Madrid, Spain, spent 4 yrs., then came back to Miami. Lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 12 years, some 7 years in Ohio and now I live in North Carolina.

Born in Cuba and raised in the USA. I have a degree in Graphic Design and have my own studio since 1994. I also consider myself an activist against violence committed toward women. I along with another woman have a website that we started in October of 2006 called WomenOnGuard.com. 

WomenOnGuard.com focuses on providing non-lethal, self defense products for its customers as well as Free Safety Tips, Hotlines and Helpful Links. The site also includes a link to the WomenOnGuard Blog which includes pertinent information regarding actual crimes being committed in the news, press releases, videos and other relevant issues of the time.

WomenOnGuard.com vowed to help women stay safe at it's inception and thus is proud to donate each month to different Women's Crisis Centers around the Nation.
