Married for 45+ years to the same beautiful lady. We have two grown children and one grand daughter age 15. Pets include a Corgie, Blue Heeler, Chocolate Lab, one part Jack Russell Terrier & Dashund and one cat. Hobbies include photography, reading, drawing, writing, metal detecting, wood carving and whittling, shooting and collecting weapons of various types. In warm weather I do a bit of fishing. I have a weird sense of humor and can usually find humor in just about anything. I abhor the "Poilitically correct" label about anything and shun that label in everything if at all possible. My politically affiliation is Independent-Conservative and I am the pastor of a small country church here in southern Virginia

Activities

I pastor a little country church with approximately 80 members. Among other things I am currently leading an in depth Bible study on the book of Revelation.

There is a local charity, Patrick Henry Boys and Girls Plantation that provides a safe and secure refuge to not only children without parents but also troubled youth. Our church sends them a sizable contribution several times each year.

I like all animals, but am especially fond of my four dogs (a Corgie, a Blue Heeler, a Chocolate Lab and a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix) and one cat that thinks she is part dog!). In my opinion anyone who doesn't like animals has a real problem and I'd just as soon not be around them! Some of my best friends have four legs!
