Places I've been

Chicago has been my home since I was 22 years old. First 27 years in Hinsdale, a west suburb, while raising 3 boys, and now I live in Roscoe Village on the near north side of Chicago since 2002. I've visited most Caribbean Islands, Barbados being one of my very favorites. I also love Maui. I've been to Mexico many times, Canada and England. Montana and Colorado are my favorite states (however I have not been to Washington nor Oregon and I think I would love it there). My favorite cities are San Fran and Manhattan, well besides Chicago. One of my favorite vacations was on the back of a Harley all over Glacier Park...especially "To The Sun Road". LOVE IT! Costa Rica is calling me!! I long to go to Central America, Africa, all of Europe and Alaska. The food I mostly love is Mediterranean, so I'd love to visit that entire area as well. I am looking for a second home and want a huge vista out my window!!

Hello! My name is Terrilee. What am I about?

I care deeply for the planet; to leave no damaging foot prints and to live, purchase and conduct my life with a conscience of conservation. It's been a lifelong journey for me. I've always loved natural fabrics, natural personal care and there are all natural home and personal care products in my home. I have found natural alternatives to health and longevity and I am passionate to help people avoid the mainstream health care in this country. I have taken my nursing career into that direction.

I'm in a peaceful place with my life ... It continues to be unpredictable adventure for me and while I've enjoyed an independant journey these past 8 years, the novelty is wearing off and I truly look forward to sharing my path, my space, my heart and soul with a significant someone. I feel like I have a soul mate out there somewhere that would enjoy life as I do..

I love travel, being outdoors in my garden, walking with my pugs around Chicago, picnics, theater, ethnic restaurants and capturing fun friends and events with my camera. I love street festivals, art festivals and live music anywhere! I'd love to be in Telluride for the June Bluegrass festival every year, but haven't done that YET! I will for sure.

It has taken me a life time to understand that my spirituality has nothing at all to do with organized religion and I dispise dogma, brainwashing and religious evangelism. I believe in the natural laws of the universe...The laws of giving, karma, intention, attraction and cause and effect. What a different planet if we honored all paths, revealed love and celebrated differences!!

While I'm known as a "people person, "I'm always happy to curl up with a good book or my journal. Life is good. I've been in "the secret" mentality for alot of years. It's brought a whole lot of serendipity and good things into my life!

Words that might be used to describe me are: loyal, happy, funky, funny, compassionate, sensitive, writer, singer, off-beat, open-minded, healthy, animal lover, successful, good listener, resourceful, honest, genuine, non-conformist, balanced, hopeless romantic, playful, unpredictable, mindful, confident, sometimes silly, trusting, safe, good friend, liberal, faithful, hard working, good mom, companion, intellectually curious, earth mystic, technologically innept, good cook, slightly crazy (and own it!), irreverent and sarcastic at times, hopeful, good driver, ADD, slightly dyslexic, non-competitive, spell check addict, tree huggin hippie girl.

I want to leave a life legacy for being an origional, being authentic, being a good friend to many, laughing a whole lot and bringing light, love and joy with me where ever I go. I want to live really long and really well. For my entire life I have looked much younger than I am. Now I am enjoying that gift alot!!

Activities

Reading, meditating, gardening, Photography, snorkeling, travel, snow skiing, Animals and animal rights issues, music and art festivals (street festivals), any music live - especailly outdoor venues, bungalows, arts and crafts, health and wellness, prevention, natural health alternatives and organic food. I've been sky diving twice. I love life in Chicago, but I am equally drawn to mountains and water. I love Montana! I love England. I love Maui!

GojiKids. My company gives 2% of their monthly sales to benefit children on this planet. I love that so many lives are being touched by the company that also gives me my livelihood.
