I'm originally from the Boston area, and I have a large Italian/Irish family still living there, as well as my Greek in-laws.  Although, I reside in Florida, we all maintain a close relationship across the miles.    

I’m friendly and fun-loving with a positive attitude towards life and love and a good sense of humor. Good food, conversation, and company are important to me. I have a great job, a wonderful circle of friends, no baggage and a good life, so most of the time you’ll find me smiling. I like to dance, go to the gym, and just enjoy life.  Everyone’s idea of attractive is different, so you’ll have to judge for yourself.  I’m hopeful that I will meet an all-around good guy who is well-spoken and informed, and who has a sense of adventure as well as a good sense of humor.  A willingness to travel is a must.  Hugs to all...because everyone needs one!

Tastes in music are wide and varied, such as jazz, R & B, bluegrass, good old rock 'n roll, opera, classical, Latin, Middle Eastern and Greek

Usually anything on the History channel or HGTV, esp. International House Hunters, and I love the BritComs and reruns of "The Nanny".

Activities

Walking, reading, the beach, the spa; listening to music; dancing, art museums, fine dining, reading, concerts--I'm usually game for most anything if I'm with the right company.

Favorite Movies

My favorites are ones where I don't have to watch a decapitation or some other gross piece of reality. I enjoy movies with a historical or political background. My personal favorites are Moonstruck, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding because I culturally identify with them. Then there is the Patriot, Patriot Games, Delta Force; The Good Earth, The Inn of Sixth Happiness, The King and I; Cleopatra; Hamlet, Persuasion, Pride & Prejudice, the Kingdom, Exodus and the list goes on.

Favorite Books

Biographies; historical novels; factual historical accounts, such as "My FBI"/Louie Frees" "My America"/Colin Powell; "Honor Lost", "My Life"/Luciano Pavarotti; "Three Cups of Tea", "Veil of Roses", "The Kingdom"; Tribes without Flags/Glass, and the list goes on.

Quiet little outdoor restaurants like Cafe Margeaux in Cocoa Village; the North End of Boston, DeFebo's in Bethany Beach; the Olympia in Orlando; Lycabbetos Hill; little tea shop near Lancaster Gate; Harrods; Ephesus; the National Gallery, Washington, DC; Athens--not the one in Georgia; the Grotto at Notre Dame University, and my all time favorite place on the universe is the village of Thera on Santorini.
