Traveled cross-country in a VW van for about 2 1/2 years back in the mid-70's so I've been in every state but Alaska & Hawaii. Lived the longest in Indiana, Illinois, So. Lake Tahoe, CA and WA state but call CO home for now.

More about me

I'm what is now referred to as "highly sensitive". All my life people have said I'm too sensitive, that I should just let things roll off my back. I felt that I was a wuss, but it was like trying to be shorter or grow an extra arm. I couldn't NOT feel the way I felt. It's good to know that 15-20% of the population has this particular temperment. Most are introverted though and I'm more of an extrovert (well at work anyway).

In my personal time I've been a loner, preferring the company of animals to people but I notice a change in my perception these days. I'd like to find a friend who thinks more like me, or at least appreciates my thoughts. I miss the feeling of support that comes from friends and family.
