I call Graham my hometown, but I actually lived in Lufkin, Texas, until the 7th grade when we moved to Graham. My favorite place I've lived, however, is Austin, Texas. I was born there while my parents were in college, and I attended that same university 18 years later and stayed on about six more years after I graduated. I've traveled around the US a bit, and my favorite cities are San Francisco, New Orleans, and Washington, DC

- More about me
-
Hi! I'm a divorced, 50-ish mother of a 10-year-old boy, so you could say I'm busy, and you'd be right! I'm also a high school teacher, so my life is filled with children. And I wouldn't have it any other way. When the "world" complains about this generation of kids, I just laugh and think to myself, "They said the same types of things about us, and we've done pretty okay." And these kids will, too. I love art (Impressionists in particular), music (rock and roll), and sports (my son's games and UT Longhorn football games for sure!). I graduated from the University of Texas, and I thank God every day that I did. That degree has given me the ability to take care of my son after my divorce. And I love Texas; this state has made me the woman I am in so many ways. God bless Texas!
