I have lived in the same area my whole life. My son lived in Mexico for a number of years and after traveling there to visit him I have a new understanding of the culture and the people. I also have a deep respect for their family values and work ethic. Unlike many of the stories I had been told.

More about me

I have two grown children. They have given me 7 grandchildren and one great granchild.   My family is very important to me.  My oldest grandson is a Sergeant in the United States Army and will be deployed to Iraq soon.  Please remeber him your prayers.  His name is Doug.

I love being able at this stage in my life to have horses.  We own a small farm of 4 acres and have two horses.   They are definitely an expensive hobby but one I would not trade for any other.

 I am enjoying eons!

Activities

Horses of course. I also enjoy music of all genre. My family is most important to me. I work as co-manager of a Curves for Women gym. I love it. I retired after 22 years of working with the mentally challenged kids. That to was very rewarding.

I can't say I have a favorite. But do encourage the Breast Cancer awareness and NAMI.

Favorite Music

I love all kinds (well not rap if you consider that music!). Just went to see the stage musical "Memopause".....if you get a chance go! It is so worth it. The women players were outstanding. We women can all relate!

Favorite TV Shows

I like the home imporvement ones and of course the personal improvement ones as well. Not much of a t.v. viewer.

Favorite Movies

Wow....that is a hard one since we rarely go to movies. I did like "Guarding Tess" it is an old one. I will have to think on this one.

Favorite Books

Love to read, that is my leisure time activity. "Memoriors of a Geisha" is a favorite. Anything by Nicholas Sparks or Mave Benchley.

Favorite Quotes

"Be kind to everyone you meet, you never know what kind of a battle they are fighting." Not sure that is exact....but the thought is there.

Favorite People

To many to name. I love most people...well except demanding, self centered ones and I steer clear of them.

Favorite Places

Hocking HIlls State Forrest, Ohio! to ride there is like riding in Wyoming. I love Wyoming too! Worked on a ranch in Wyoming for several weeks....loved it!

Favorite Animals

My horses...would like to add a dog one day. My cat Binky.
