Grew up in the Washington, DC area and have lived in DC, Northern VA, Atlanta, and Raleigh, NC Love to travel. Have seen alot of the US, and traveled in Eastern and Western Europe. Done a month-long home exchange in a little village in southwestern France and spent another two weeks living in a village of 150 people in the Transylvanian region of Romania (no water or electricity).

I love life and I enjoy learning something new, trying something new, and going places I haven't been. I'm a much better thinker and writer than I am an athlete -- but I'm always willing to bowl or golf with people who have plenty of time and a good sense of humor (since I can't seem to find a foursome who want to just sit around and think with me). I laugh alot, adore my kids and grandkids, am blessed with many good friends (both new and old), and probably have too much energy! I can't fix anything in my house and I don't like to do yardwork. I am truly grateful for all the wonderful opportunities and experiences I have had in my life.
