More about me

I am a new Grandmother at this writing.  My grandson was born September 14, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I also live in SLC, in fact we wil be 3 generations under the same roof for awhile.

I write poetry, play the folk harp and work as a Vet Assistant. I am the mother of one daughter and 2 dogs and have been married 25 years. My dream is to get enough money put aside to travel after my husband retires, which is still at least 18-20 years away, as he is younger than I am.

We are thinking of moving to Mexico after retirement as the cost of living is much less. He knows some spanish and I intend to learn it. I took some in college many years ago, but never really used it, so I have lost it. I can still pronounce the words fairly well, but my vocabulary is very weak. I can recognize some words I see or hear, but don't do well trying to do a conversation.
