Places I've been

Traveled a lot, I love beaches and adore the sunset kaleidoscopes. I've lived in, and taught in England, and spent weekends roaming the countryside. My fav spot is Sanibel Island in Florida, but whether ocean or puddle...water makes me glow.

More about me

I'm happily divorced and run an academic technology program at a college. I have a daughter and a grandson, who light up my life. Oh, and I have a fish, Sushi. I am active in my community and president of my homeowner's association, which is a job only the seriously disturbed should consider. But since my home is a large investment, at least I am sure that it in good hands. I paint some, photograph some (usually as inspiration to paint) write poetry, play tennis, and bask in the warm glow of the sun. Water soothes my soul, and I need to be around it as often as possible.

I have a lot of friends, and enjoy having as well as attending dinner parties and social events. Life is wonderful!

 OK, update...some people object to my little fish being named 'Sushi'...I have to say, he seems to be OK with it.

 As for more about me, well, the word on the street is that I am terminally neat. Maybe. Personally, I think closets should be organized by color, shoes from flats to heels, by color, and a place for everything and everything better be back in place...that's not so bad is it? Who cares. I don't care what my friends do (and trust me, not a one of them can even get to seriously neat, much less terminally...). I love having a sense of order in my life. And if they are happy living in a mess, bless their hearts. I don't sweat the small stuff.
