More about me

My blonde is slowly turning gray, my hair is super curly, and I'm working on other improvments.

Update, still working on improvements, but the grey, seems to be going towards a white, resulting in a "professional" streaked look.  And my nieces gave me a hair straightener last year, So I'm now only super curly when I choose.  Major improvement, 4 years after my stroke, I have started to lessen my reliance on my cane to keep me from falling.  Wonder of wonders, I seem to have regained some balance.  At least on fairly level surfaces, and if I'm not tired, I am starting to build new pathways, and use my eyes and internal mental beat to not fall flat on my tushee when walking outside.  This has been a special accomplishment, since I can now take my neighbors 2 (yes 2) Anatolian Shepards on walks, and not worry  about the cane tangling in the leads.  Although I do need to sit and rest more, when dealing with two strong young dogs, they don't seem to mind.   I actually think they are very considerate to me.  They have only knocked me over twice, and each time both were right back sniffing to make sure I wasn't hurt, and  letting me use them to get back to my feet.
