Hi, I'm a pensioner who loves Jesus, animals, music and singing, creative writing, reading and nature. My dream is to live on a houseboat with a significant other, and my dog. I have four married children and seven grandchildren. I'm an optimist and a dreamer, but a bit of a hermit. I plan to do a writing course for children's books soon. I am a retired registered nurse.

Classical instrumental, choral, select soloists, opera, piano, violin, gospel, hymns, country and western, folk, ballads, scottish country dancing, acapello, Welsh male, prepubescent boys singing, catchy tunes, love songs, and so I could go on ad infinitum. MUSIC IS MY NECESSARY FOOD>

Only one soapie; Sewende Laan [South African], documentaries, nature programs, medical detectives, ballet, ice-skating, gymnastics, chick flicks, old movies, British comedy, news, weather.

Crocodile Dundee, Gone with the Wind, Little Women, Fiddler on the Roof, Sophie's choice, Lion King, All Walt Disney movies, Pride and Prejudice, Gigi, My Fair Lady, The Nun's story, to name but a few in that line of golden oldies.

Favorite Books

The Bible, Our Daily Bread, Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus, all the Anne of Green Gables series, The poems of Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, Cathrine Cookson, the Country Vet series, the Carry-on series, all of Bob Grant, and hundreds more that happen to catch my attention at the time.
