I grew up in the country on a farm near a very, very small town. My high school graduating class numbered 12. My very best friend who to this day is still my very best friend was with me from first grade on.

Time to update again!  Can't believe how  long it has been since I looked at my profile!  I take care of a now 2 year old granddaughter while her parents work so that keeps me hopping but she sure is fun.

Still pursuing my metaphyscial interests as a reader and a Reiki Master.  Don't care for the "master" term....doesn't mean I'm the "master" of anything, just that I am a teacher of Reiki.

Other than that, I'm single and just trying to enjoy life and have fun.

Current favorite...The Help. But I like old feel good movies and chick flicks.

So many books, so little time..... I like stories about relationships with some mystery thrown in. I read a lot, sometimes a couple of books a week, mostly fiction for escape. Non-fiction are books about life, why are we here, what does it mean and many other metaphysical topics.

My favorite place is the beach, there's nothing like it for total relaxation and it doesn't matter where it's sunny and warm or rainy and storming! And in Washington State, you never know what the weather is going to be like there. It can be storming inland and calm and warm at the beach.

Favorite Animals

I am allergic to them, but cats have been my favorite. I do enjoy dogs but I have a grandson who is allergic and I'm really too busy for a dog...it wouldn't be fair to the dog.
