More about me

 My husband of 46 years passed away after a short illness just over 2 weeks ago.  Tony was such a good man, husband, father and grandfather.  There's a huge void in my life without him.  

 

Well, it's a little over a year later and God has blessed me with a peace about all that has transpired over this year.  My oldest son was diagnosed with stage 3 colon/rectal cancer in Oct 2010 just 4 months after his dad passed away.  That woke me up because I realized that the world was still turning & now I would be the one to come to the aid of our children in times like this.  I must say that I've grown stronger and I'm happy now.  No use in being on this earth making others feel sorry for me.  I've also come to realize that when I'm reaching out to someone else in need I'm doing what i'm here for.

I'm on an exercise push now.  Walking, swimming & cardio/strength training.  I love to read and travel.

Walking, gardening, reading, antiqueing & junking, photography. We also love to travel and spend weekends in our RV.

Favorite People

My husband, Tony showed so much courage as he suffered immense pain for the months of June & July 2010. I could not have handled it the way he did. Wherever my family happens to be, I'm happy to be there with them.

Cats are my favorite because they're so independent like most women. But I love dogs because of their loyalty.
