Places I've been

Born in Stockton Calif., raised in Sacramento Cali (Hometown), I've been to Tijuana once when I was twelve. Have been to Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Went to Kentucky, Fort Bragg to see my son graduate boot camp, in '89. I did have a major vacation road trip just last month. My son & his family invited me to go to Moab, Utah for some serious bike riding. They rode, I and my granddtr took a much easier hike to view the local rock formations. Although I did hike to Delicate Arch. What an experience! I saw sights I didn't know existed, along the way to the Grand Canyon. One of my places to see. One down and many more to see.

In thirty seconds; I'm a very complicated person that even I don't know what I am going to do from one minute to the next. I'm not a big talker, mostly a listner. I like being in a room full of people and mingle among groups of people and listen to conversations. I've learned that there are people who do the talking and people who just listen. I learn alot about places, ideas, what people are about and what they care about, all sorts of things. I especially like to tune in to body language. That is very interesting. Sometimes that says more about the person than actually speaking. If you really tune in, what someone is saying isn't what they really mean. I don't like negative and tend to propel to positive energy.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

I would like to say President Clinton but I didn't but my son who was going to Haiti back in 89-90 and my husband got to speak to him when he landed in McClennon Air Base. He even stopped and spoke to my son for some 5 or so minutes to assure him he would not be in Haiti for too long. So I feel that I spoke to President Clinton by Proxy.

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

Travel. I finally broke away from my husband's apron strings and tag along with my son and his family to see the country. My husband hates to travel and forbids me to travel without him. It's okay if I go with my son.

Probably to visit New York and most no. 1# is Italy. I had the opportunity in Sept. to visit one my my dream places which was the Grand Canyon. I was not disappointed. It was just immense!! I have not travel outside of Northern California in 60 yrs so I was just amazed. Why go anywhere else, we have the greatest wonder right here in the United States.
