Known as "Mom" to 3 wonderful kids! 2 are grown & married with kids of their own.

3 grandchildren. A Granddaughter, Sheridan, age 3.  A Grandson, Gaylen, age 2, & my youngest Granddaughter, Carsyn who is 1 an a half. 

My youngest just graduated from High School last week & is College bound next fall..... Woo... HOO!!!

Divored for a number of years now & maybe..... Someday..... I'll meet a man that will be the love of my life.  

I had my own retail flower shop for years, but now work with underprivileged preschool children.

In my spare time, I enjoy the ocean & especially the rocky coast of Maine & it's many lighthouses. I enjoy fishing of all kinds, but salt water fishing hs always been my favorite. I also have a passion for collecting Vintage Barbie dolls, genealogy, & my German Shepherd Pup named Skyleah.

I am an avid vintage Barbie collector & enjoy shows, or auctions that are related to this subject. I enjoy reading, gardening, genealogy, fish keeping, & fishing. (Yes, .......... I did say fishing as in one jerk on one end of a line waiting for a jerk at the other! LOL!!!) I like any kind of fishing, but enjoy deep sea fishing best. I also enjoy candlepin, or 10 pin bowling, ice skating, roller blading, sledding, sewing, cross stitch, needlepoint, the ocean, lighthouses, & long walks to nowhere. The beach. Camping. A long drive to no place in particular. A roaring fire on the patio, a BBQ, or just a picnic someplace quiet. Yard sales, or flea markets. Going to the movies & eating out on occasion.

Though my Mom always said charity begins at home, I find I'm a soft touch for any charity that has to do with helping children, animals, or our Veterans.

I love all kinds of music. Oldies from the 50's, 60's, & 70's being my very most favorite. LOVE the Beatles ~ The Righteous Brothers ~ Patsy Cline ~ Peter, Paul & Mary ~ Simon & Garfunkel ~ Cosby, Stills, Nash, & Young ~ Chicago ~ Journey ~ ELO ~ Bryan Adams ~ Foreigner ~ Boston ~ Heart ~ Shania Twain. I also LOVE instrumentals. Especially Piano. Not fond of hip hop, rap, acid rock, or new age music at all.

Favorite TV Shows

I really don't watch very much TV. When I do, I find myself attracted to the old sitcoms, or movies on the Hallmark, or Lifetime channels. I also like documentaries & the HGTV channel.

Favorite Books

I really LOVE reading & LOVE a good horror story as well as a well written love story. I LOVE historical novels as well as true life stories, not to mention well written children's books. This may sound strange, but some of my MOST all time favorite books are children's books. My all time favorite was a book called "Castaways in Lilliput" I read this as a child at least 20 times. If I had the chance & could remember the author, I'd read it again! The old Dick & Jane primers are among some of my favorites too & I do own all of them! The Giving Tree, The Hungry Caterpillar. LOL! Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, & the Bobbsey Twin books. LOVE Stephen King & any book that will grab me the way his do.
