More about me

I am fron the gorgeous Commonwealth of Virginia, being raised near, on - and in! - the Chesapeake Bay, also known as the Tidewater area. I graduated from Hampton High School in 1975. I have lived with my husband and two children in Central Indiana for 31 years come this September. I have been married to a wonderful man for 32 years, and we have two fabulous children, a daughter who has been married for 7 years and has blessed us with three amazing grandsons; and a son, who is still single, but living on his own and doing well. We are proud of them both and love them all dearly. I am a Certified Surgical Technologist (C.S.T.), and have been for the last 15 years, which I enjoy immensely. However, I am currently on disability leave while rehabbing a torn right rotator cuff injury since late last June, which has required two surgeries to attempt a repair, and my return to the profession I love is at risk at this point, but it's not over with yet, and we shall see how things go!

Activities

My husband, my kids, my three wonderful grandsons, the rest of my family, cooking, entertaining, reading, cars, auto racing, and, last but not least, BASEBALL!! :-) We target shoot as well, and have a wide variety of firearms with which to do it! Some of them include, MAK90, HiPoint 9mm, Remington 1100 Skeet, SKS Browning Gold Hunter & Mossberg 500 Persuader shotguns Ruger 9mm & Bursa .380 handguns - and so on....

Most recent - "A Walk In The Woods - Rediscovering America On The Appalachian Trail" by Bill Bryson (NY Times Best Seller.) It's an engaging and frequently side-spitting tale of hiking part of the trail with a totally unprepared companion and what is learned along the way! I recommend it highly!
