About me

After having lost 70 pounds more than 12 years ago, I learned that the key to changing one's life is not about the actions, but about the thoughts, feelings and beliefs. I am now a THINspirational speaker and I help "increase productivity, morale, and joy among other recovering perfectionists by eliminating procrastination and perfectionism."

I am also a syndicated columnist and write a weekly column about "weight loss, habit change, and other acts of faith." (Many of the posts are at www.WeightLossColumn.com.)

And, if you'd like to take part in the day-to-day battles of maintaining a healthy body, I have another blog at www.ForeverFightingFat.com.)

  • Hi. Wanted to let you know I added this to my post in the Wine group bringing it up front and providing a link to your work. "I do want to apologize to the writer of this piece, Scott "Q" Marcus. I noted his name and info on the bottom but neglected to provide a link to his wonderful motivational writings. I usually like to that anyway so that you can go to the article yourselves if you want to read more. Well, here it is, albeit late. Please stop by his blogs for some humor and inspiration. He is an accomplished author as well and information about his book can also be found here. view link" Mae culpa!
