More about me

What a great life.  I live 75 miles from where I was born.  Family lives all around me including 7 grandchildren.  I own a real estate company and am the past president of the local 1000 member Association of Realtors.

I volunteer with United Way, the Cancer Society (I am a 10 year cancer survivor), the Boys and Girls Club, Rebuild America and many other organizations.  It is my way of giving back to my community.

My husband of 35 years passed away three years ago so I'm starting a new journey.  One of the first things I did was to obtain my motorcycle endorsement.  Haven't bought the bike yet, but I sure get the fever in the spring and fall.  So I got a convertible instead.

I ran for city commission and won the 1st vote by 600 votes and lost the runoff by 185 votes.  Of course no one really loses when you are involved in the process.
