Places I've been

For the past 37 years, I have lived with my husband in California - currently with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Before that I lived in the midwest and went to college on the east coast. I have travelled to nearly all of the 50 states and to many European countries. Although we still love to travel, most of our trips now are to visit our grandkids in the midwest.

More about me

After 20 years as a psychologist in private practice, I retired in the spring of 2007 to spend more time coaching Baby Boomer women and writing a book with a colleague on the issues of the Sandwich Generation.  In the past, I myself had spent many years sandwiched between taking care of my parents and my children. My husband, who also recently retired from his private practice as a physician, and I like to spend time writing books for our grandchildren and visiting them in Chicago.  I love to walk on the beach and swim for exercise.  I enjoy volunteering in the community, especially when I work with children.
