Places I've been

I have'nt traveled as much as I would have like as I have a disabllitiy but the place that I go to the most is the hamptons. I would love to have the chance to go to Europe after my daughter finishes school when I have more money.

More about me

I am a 52 year old female who has three children all girls. The oldest is 32, the middle one is 28 and the youngest is 15. All of them have learning disablities and the youngest had the most serious so I've learned how to advocate for people with learning disablities and for people with psychial disablities as I have one. I have to use crutches to beable to walk any length of time. But I also get done what has to be done. I live one the east coast and I love the mountains. I have sepreated from my partner and would at some point like to met another woman who's interested in forming a freindship and maybe more.    

Activities

I love to read, work on the computer and write in my jounal and work on my book. I love going to the mountains and hanging out with my daughters. If I had enough money I would like to travel and to contirbute to some of my favorite charites and causes.

Favorite Charities

One of my favorite charites is the Association for patinets with Hysisitosis X or Langern hans cell desises. It is a rare blood dieseis that I had when I was a child. I also like working with children with learning disablities as my children and I have dyslexia and other learning disabilites. I also like to work with people who have psychical disabilites as I have one.

Favorite Music

I love Classical music and music from the sixties and the seventies. There are some music that I like from the 50's as I had older brother's who listened to it. but my very favorite album of all is Simon and Garfunkels "Sounds of Silence".

Favorite TV Shows

I love to watch the shows on court tv and the discovery channels. My favorite show would have to be Forensic Files on court tv. I also watch shows on the Foodnetwork.

Favorite Movies

I don't particularly watch movies but if I was asked my favorites would have to be the "Robe and Ben Hur".

Favorite Books

My favorite book would have to be the Robe but the Harry Potter series comes close.

Favorite Quotes

My favorite quote is "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I'm not sure who said it first but it's one that we use a lot in our family.

Favorite People

Besides my daughter's favorite person who have to be a preist who helped me a lot when I was a child and in the hosptial a lot.

Favorite Places

My favorite place would have to be the catskill mountains and my second favorite place would be Sag Harbor in the Hamptons on Long Island.

Favorite Animals

My favorite animal is a dog. I have always had dogs in my life and the one that I have now is a sheppard mix named Angel and besides my daughter is has my heart.
