More about me

   Hi, I'm a 66 year old long distance truck driver who has at one time or another traversed all of the lower 48, probably a bunch of times. I have logged around 4 million miles on the road. I enjoy great health, partly due to the fact that I bicycle a great deal when I'm not driving. Diet, excersize, and general fitness is my motivation. I enjoy photography, nature, and people. I was a college grad who majored in Agriculture. I still love farming and related things. I like to read instead of TV.I Lost my son Chris in 2006, however my daughter Sandy in Bakersfield, Ca. has been very prolific with six girls of her own and three Grandsons now. I also have a stepdaughter Rayneta who has one son, and two daughters, who lives close to me. She has been a constant inspiration.Looking for friends to talk to, and chat with.

Activities

I currently enjoy bicycling, and belong to a local club. We ride somewhere at least every Saturday. I still like antique equipment and motorcycling.. (BMW only) I enjoy gardening, and like to work in the yard when I can. I have 1 1/2 acres, so it keeps me occupied when I'm home. I still enjoy photography, but just don't take the time to give it what it deserves.

50's, I especially like the early 50's pop music. I like some music from the 60's as well. I like Carol King, John Denver, most classic country. I listen to my XM radio while on the road, couldn't drive without it.
