Places I've been

Every state, except Montana, North and South Dakota and Alaska...had a great time in Hawaii this past summer. Other countries: Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Bahamas, Puerto Rico (territory), Domican Republic. Fuel (not full) History: Yesterday, I filled up my gas tank. Fortunately for me, they let me finance it over a 10 year period.

Laughter and sports get me through life.  Thank God my Red Sox won the W.S. again.  The Celtics are red hot, but the Pats petered out in the Super Bowl, but as they say, we love them anyway.

I loved John Candy and really miss his inimitable style.  My favorite wit these days is Dennis Miller.  He's a guy who is very knowledgable about sports and combines his quick wit along with it.

I'm a self-employed recruiter and I'm in semi-retirement, working about 30 hours a week from home.

I'm a huge UConn Huskies fan and lived in Connecticut from 1993-2003 and followed both the men's and women's basketball programs...superb programs with many championships during the 90's and beyond.

The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Becker reruns, Jeopardy, reruns of Wings, News Shows, True TV...Actuality, not Reality (Holy Smokes...where did they get that lame line??), The Dennis Miller Show, some of Comedy Central...Foxworthy and his buddies, sports shows, especially Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics.

Favorite Music

Karen Carpenter...as Art Bell says about Crystal Gayle, "She has the voice of an angel." She was my same age when she died in 1983 at the age of 33. It was a very sad day! Very old fashioned...soft pop from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Since then, most music doesn't sound like music to me. I do like Dido though...very beautiful voice.

The Dana Farber Children's Cancer Research Center, aka, The Jimmy Fund, official charity of the Boston Red Sox for over 50 years!!! They do great work; St. Judes Children's Hospital; Feed The Children; World Vision; Mercy Corps

Activities

Sports...follow the Red Sox, Patriots (no comment about the Super Bowl loss, please), Celtics, UConn Huskies basketball, comedy...love comedy movies, including the slapstick stuff sometimes...was a big fan of Jim Varney...aka Ernest, who, along with another fav., John Candy, died way too young! I was once a pretty good athlete, but these days, I'm reduced to playing golf, which I dearly love...even when I play poorly, just being outside on a beautiful course makes my blood flow.

Favorite Places

Acadia National Park, Maine, the North Carolina coastline, the Oregon coastline, getting out on the open ocean as often as I can...sailing, cruises, deep sea fishing...flying (have over 20 hours of flight training), Cape Cod, Mass., New Hampshire. You couldn't get the New England out of me if you tried! I lived in CA for 6 years, but it's changed so much, it's hard to know anymore, but San Diego is beautiful...great beaches!
