I'm presently the author of a book entlitled Out of My Mind and Back to My Senses: The Object of Life Is To Find Out Who I Am Before Time Runs Out (OOMM).  Petigree-wise, I'm a retired United States Air Force Major and airline pilot whose major decorations include: three Distinguished Flying Crosses, nine Air Medals, and two Air Force Commendation Medals.  Noteworthy, is that the nearly 40 year “long search” for truth that produced the aforementioned book was primarily inspired by an emergency bailout (and associated altered states of consciousness) that occurred  in 1970 while flying AC-119K “Stinger” gunships in Vietnam.  I subsequently flew as a pilot for both Pan Am and United Airlines for 15 years, retiring in 2004 with nearly 15,000 hours of pilot and flight engineer time.  I also hold a BS in Marketing (1967) and an MBA (1976), both from Penn State University (Go Lions!). I have been married to my lovely wife Sandy for 39 years (saint that she is) and have two sons: Matthew, an associate pastor, and Aaron, who just completed his master’s degree in social work. I have three beautiful granddaughters, Natalie, Gabriella, Sasha and a brand new grandson name Josiah, I dearly love. I also have two wonderful (and beautiful) daughter-in-laws: Tanya, a Russian girl Matt met in Russia while taking Bibles into the schools there; and Carrie, a special education teacher, Aaron met and married in Eugene, Oregon. I am currently working (among many other things) on Vol. II of the "What Is Truth Series" I am doing entitled, "Altered States Of Conception: Seeing Life In A New Light."
