I am proud to say that I have survived to age 55, (Geesh, that used to sound so OLD!). I am a quilter, and have won ribbons for them. I have sold quilts all over the world. I ride dressage and my current horse is a wonderful German Warmblood by the name of Falcao who is my teacher and partner.

I grew up as the oldest of 8. I firmly believe in the birth order, but I admire my baby sister who has made more progress in the last couple of years than I have!. It is my pride that I am able to handle most of what life hands me, and hope to improve my ability to communicate more clearly. I also want to be able to be still more self-sufficient.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

Carl Hester, a dressage rider from England who was in Las Vegas riding in the World Cup in 2005. Incredibly fascinating and easy to relate to. A real genuine person.

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

Walking long distances, I just recently finished doing 38 miles on the Breast Cancer 3-day walk! I am also traveling more, and doing it on my own since my husband is a home body.
