hello.

welcome to my place.  I have no idea what to say about myself but here is something. 

I read the news and watch C-span a lot,   I read about 7 books a week.  I used to be an exercise fanatic; not any more.  I think of myself as an old hippie (meaning that I'm stuck in the values I've had since 1967-70 or thereabouts, e.g., live and let live, etc.).

Addition to this about me in May of '08:   I decided to blog on myspace, so my blog is at www.myspace.com/pippi413.

I am not sure that I think internet communication with strangers is the best way to move about in life, but I'm putting something of myself in here for now.  Maybe I'll blog on here if I can figure out what it is and see if I get some kind of feedback. 

As indicated in my photo, I am not a big fan of the current president.  I am kind of fatalistic about the future; things don't look very promising.  If you, the reader, are a true Bush believer, we won't have anything in common.
