Good conversation and intelligence. Current events and politics. I hold a great fondness for things of the past; especially Americana (yrs 1900 - late 70's). I'd love to take a ride back through time to the 1920's - 1960's as an adult and witness the events of our past. Always enjoy a trip down memory lane and looking at old pictures. I especially like collecting antiques, collectibles, and nostalgia. I enjoy going to flea-markets and garage sales, cooking, dining in or out, spending time with family and friends, movies, live theatre, dancing, listening to a wide variety of music including the oldies, relaxing by the pool, sports, walks, writing, and more. I enjoy many forms of uplifting relaxation like aromatherapy, creativity, delicious scents, fragrant candles, romance, soft music.

There are many good Christian charities that are worthy of support. What can compare with a slow dance to Sinatra, Luther Vandross, or the Righteous Brothers? Movies and live theater? Yes, I love it!

Loved Steve Irwin; God rest his soul. I still adore many of the vintage Hollywood ladies like: Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Woods, and so many others. My son, family, and friends. Mother Teresa, Ruth Bell Graham, Jackie Kennedy, Laura Bush, Elizabeth Dole. FDR, JFK, and many Christan men. True people of faith. Good deed-doers. Compassionate people that really care about their fellow man. Kind people with a good attitude and outlook on life; especially those that give encouragement and support in times of need. A true friend that's slow to anger and quick to praise; uplifting in all aspects of their behavior and loyality. Considerate and patient teachers. Someone that's walked a mile in my shoes. I hate the vibes of a hyper person; especially anyone that wallows in negativity and self-pitty. I really believe prolonged exposure to negativity is contagious. If your down-to-earth, good-natured, humorous, and mellow, your mine kind of people.

Hands down, it's the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Yep, you guessed it. I'm a southern girl at heart. 2nd place definately goes to the Pine Club located in Dayton, Ohio. Great steaks, great lobster, great stewed tomatoes, great pretzel bread, and such wonderful ambiance! The perfect place for a romantic date.
