About Me

  • My name is Linda (Hilton) Watson.
  • I love art. I love looking at art, reading about art, talking about art and writing about art. But, most of all, I love making art.
  • Outside of my wonderful family, my other great love is horses. There is none so beautiful, so kind and so forgiving in all the animal world. The life lessons I have learned from horses is incomparable.
  • I am a proud member of WWAO (Worldwide Women Artists Online) Worldwide Women Artists is an international collective of women artists showing and selling our original art through the worldwide web. As women artists, we give birth to our ideas in a variety of styles and media. We embrace the diversity of each other's work, celebrating the joy of creating our art and sharing it with the world.

  • Some of my work is for sale at

  • This was my very first seascape in monotone. My teacher did not like 'balanced' paintings. IU do understand what you're saying about the clouds, and I would incorporate that idea into my next one. In the smaller picture, the autumn bush is on the right side (asymmetrical) and the mountain on the left. Good comments, Pica. I do appreciate your time to critique these.
