More about me

I come from a very large family of nine children, where my twin sister and I are the oldest. Most of my life has been spent in the same area of Ohio, but I do like to travel. When you are the oldest in a family as large as mine, you really want to get out, so I pretty much married right out of high school. Not the smartest thing to do, but not uncommon at the time.

I have two beautiful daughters, one grandson and two of the loveliest granddaughters in the world.  Of course I spoil them to the very best of my ability!

After 27 years of marriage my husband and I were divorced. He is a great guy and we are still friends, but I just couldn't live with him. Then I met my current husband on the internet and two years later we got married. He has been my rock through many challenging times.

I worked in food service management for a long time, but decided to go back to school about seven years ago to become a medical assistant and have found the career change was worth the work of attending night school while working full time.
