My husband and I went to Israel in the 90's. I went to Papua New Guinea in 2001 with the Wycliff Bible Translators to do a VBS for the children while their parents were in conference. My friend took me to see her brother in Nevada on the train in 2000. A wonderful way to see the country.

More about me

I receiaved my BS degree 20 years late since I stopped to marry and have a family.  I then taught special education for a few years before becoming a group home manager.  This allowed me to be available to care for my father and oversee his health until he died at age 95 years young.   Since then I have substitiuted in the local school system.  Teaching it my gift now as I minister to offenders in jail and prison. I have been ordained and licensed as well as training in chaplaincy workshops for my late in life vocation.  I have been active in the Kairos programs in the women's prison of Indiana for several years. 

 

Activities

I like working in my back yard. When I can't do that I go to the workout center nearby. I like to read Biblical novels as well as my Bible. I find now the DVD's are very good. By using a service I am seeing more than what the advertisements offer. such a variety of topics and ideas are offered.

I watch TBN most of the day with various ministries giving teachings, music, and dialog with people. Evenings find me watching CSI or a DVD. Hallmark has been having some good oldies!!
