About Me

I'm an old hippie who lives with her old man in the Sierra Nevada, CA. I've smoked pot since 1967; had Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes since 1969. I'm for peace, legalized pot, no censureship of any kind, universal health care that's available to all Americans at low cost. I love classic rock, cats, crosswords, classic cinema & film noir, cooking & reading. I'm an atheist, but I believe in karma & the power of individual spirit. I've been with my old man for 37 yrs; no children; 2 dogs & 1 cat.

My old man, my lover, my best friend is the MOST interesting person I've met. He's done so many things, and had a wealth of unique experiences. He traveled across the country hopping freight trains, he started and lived on a commune, he rowed outriggers, he sailed in a makeshift boat up the Western coast of Washington/Vancouver, and then got "deported" by the Canadians! He also ran 440 hurdles in high school, and started college on a track scholarship. He's a great "people" person and genuinely likes people. He's also worked as a firefighter for the Forestry service, done leather work (he worked for a saddle maker), skateboarded - we had Tony Hawk in the back seat of our Volvo back in the late '70s, so he knows ALL the skateboard veterans (Tony Alva, Stacey Peralta, Jay Adams, Shogo Kubo, etc.).
