New Orleans has always been a favorite place to visit, also driving through the Ozarks in autumn when the leaves are exploding with color. I relish the memories of that honeymoon in Hawaii when I was just a babe, and vacations with the kids to Florida and Disney World. I have sailed, scuba'd and swam in the Carribean more than once. Gone crabbing, fishing and picniced on the prettiest beaches on Gulf Coast. Even frequented to Branson, Mo. before it became popular. Visited small wineries from Nappa to Yakima and Texas to Arkansas. I have Lived and worked in Houston, Corpus Christi, Kingsville, McAllen, Texas and Springfield, Missouri, Seattle and Everett, Washington. Now in the majestic Pacific Northwest, 30 minutes from Seattle and an hour from Canada. Beautiful mountains, trees everywhere, snow in winter, Lots of water to play in in the summer, Northern Lights, soft rain, romance, who could ask for more?

I I grew up in La., youngest of 5, a surprise to my parents in their middle age, always the baby sister. I love to play the piano, cut my teeth on gospel and blues, but my teacher always took us to the symphony and opera rehearsals too and played in competitions as well as for acutal money when I was in high school and college. Music is still a big part of my life and I like all kinds. I used to draw and paint and was fortunate enough to study with artist Louis Sicard as a kid. I have canvases in the attic to prove it. Now I just doodle alot, but I love to design and decorate and appreciate what it takes to be a great artist, which I am not. Still, its something I want to pick up again someday. I have 3 grown children of my own, 4 stepkids as well, all on their own now, and the family has grown with husbands and wives for all. Also have 3 beautiful grandchildren and another on the way. Ive been a nurse for over 30 years now.......ok now I feel old. I have been in many roles in my profession and met alot of wonderful and inspiring people both as patients and co-workers and friends. I've survived ex-husbands, ex-wives, toodlers, teenagers, weddings, night shifts, driving in the snow, tornadoes and hurricanes, an earthquake, moving alot, and loss of loved ones young and old. Funny thing is though my body bears the marks of time marching on, in my heart and mind I still feel 18, but smarter. I still want to see the world, try new things, meet new people, eat new foods, and ride the scariest rides! - Favorite Movies

Heidi a miniature schnauzer that would wake me up when my oldest was a baby and keep my feet warm while I nursed him in the middle of the night. Shanna, big Irish Setter with a sense of humor. Bubbles, my devoted Cocker Spaniel that so loyally helped me raise my kids. Now I share my life with Angel, my 7 yr old Border Collie that teaches me new tricks all the time. and lastly, Bella, the cute 1 yr old miniature Italian Greyhound I inherited when my daughter moved. Bonnie, my next door neighbor's cat growing up and gave me hours of joy. Baby, my husband's maine coon calico kitty when we met who graciously accepted me, my dog and my kids like a lady.
