I lived for over 23 years in Union City CA, near Fremont, CA. This area is called "The Bay Area". I spent many wonderful days in San Francisco visiting museums, downtown beautiful stores and the fabulous Golden Gate Park. After my husband retired from United Airlines we retired to Paradise, CA two hours north or Sacramento, CA. We have the four seasons with only a little snow each year. These days I spend a lot of time traveling to Southern California to visit my son, daughter-in-law and two cute Grandchildren.

More about me

I have been a widow for over four years, after 31 years of a great marriage.  I have two grown children and two cute little grandchildren.

I love to volunteer and recently started teaching art at the Boys & Girls Club.  I have held many offices in the AAUW (American Association of University Women).  This year I will be helping out with our fundraisers.  The money earned will go to re-entry scholarships.  I care about animals and have done volunteer work for the Humane Society.  At present, I have one small twelve pound dog, Gypsy.  I adopted her through the shelter/Humane Society about eleven years ago.
