Places I've been

Moved to Oregon - moved to Alaska in 1964 (shortly after the BIG earthquake), travelled around Alaska where the roads went - from there to the far reaches by bush plane. I have been to the warm waters of the western hemisphere and Northern Mediterranean. My first major travel alone was to China in 1986 - changed my life. Europe, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Belize, & a lot, but not enough of the US yet.---Miles to go before I sleep!

I owned my own business for 17 years in Anchorage.  I have 2 children/I'm divorced.  I moved back to Oregon in 1992 to be near my daughter & subsequent grandchildren.  I find life adventurous, exciting and challenging. I love travel, gardening, walking/hiking, and working with young people.

Favorite TV Shows

They will be oldies as I no longer have a TV. Mash, Cheers, History Channel, News, and Cooking Shows (wishful thinking, as I find cooking for one not enjoyable)

Favorite Movies

Roman Holiday, Casa Blanca, African Queen, Piano, One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest. Anything with Cary Grant, George Clooney - well you get the "picture!

Favorite Books

Undaunted Courage, Historical Novels, Biographies, History and Travel. Anything by Molly Ivins.

Favorite People

My children, MY Daddy ( I miss him) Other family members, long time friends AND new friends.

Favorite Places

Tuscany, Provence, The Loire Valley, Brugge, Belgium. Basically any place I have traveled I would love to go again - AND all the places I haven't seen, I am sure would become favorite places!

Favorite Animals

Giraffes, penquins, Moose, Big cats and small, My daughters Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Musk Ox, - indeed I enjoy watching all animals and cuddling some.
