Lived in Monterey, California; Laurel, Maryland; West Lafayette, Indiana; Ankara, Turkey; Franklin Park, Illinois Vacationed as a child in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada. Met my husband in Indiana, visited his family in Wellesley, MA and Walpole, NH. Skied Killington, VT; camped in White Mountains, NH; married in Monterey, CA. Traveled to England, Scotland, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Greece, Turkey in the 60's, while husband was stationed in Ankara, Turkey (US Army). Traveled to Canada (lots of fishing in Ontario); Rhine Valley of France and Germany for 2 weeks in the 70's. Lived and worked in Panama in the 80's while in graduate school. Traveled to Costa Rica twice, Honduras once, Alaska once, Kenya and Tanzania once. Chartered sailboats in US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. Most recent trip was to Ecuador and the Galapagos Archipelago (fantastic). Planning a trip to Alaska next summer. Currently spend winter months in Puerto Rico, where we have a home, 2 kayaks, and a small sailboat.
