Current age 64 Born in Eureka CA and raised in Blue Lake when it was a rip-snorting lumber town.  Finished up High School at CV High near Redding.  AA degree at Shasta JC and BS degree at Humboldt State.  Married and had 2 kids in the process.  Still married, over 44 years now.   Had a 25 year career as a CA State Park Ranger, now retired.  I tried retirement at the end of last year, and that lasted 7 months.  I enjoyed forgetting all about what day of the week it was and not having to get up and go to work.  However, one should never say "never" and I am glad I still have the umph to get at it again.  I was offered a part time position writing reports for the local Housing Authority and jumped back in.  Nice to have a bit more spending money during these hard economic times.

Activities

Woodworking, Do it myself work around our place, I like to keep busy. Hunting, shooting and riding my ATV and enjoying a good fresh red ale

Favorite Music

I used to say country but I don't care for the country music today. Now I mainly listen to 50-60's oldies.

Favorite TV Shows

CSI, Mythbusters, Ghost Whisperer, good history segments, PBS programs and I yearn for Star Trek.
