I've been many places in the U.S., my favorite area being the Southwestern U.S., particularly northern Arizona. Outside the continental U.S., I've been to Hawaii, Great Britain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Mexico. I also visited various Carribbean Islands when I was on a cruise a few years ago. Most recently I traveled to Hilton Head Island, S.C. for a memorable and fun family reunion.

I live in a northern suburb of Dallas, TX. I'm a middle-school teacher, a mom, a daughter, a lover, and a friend. I love the mountains, hiking, reading, thunderstorms, making blankets for underpriviledged newborns, sudoku-ing, and other things. I am divorced and have 2 wonderful kids.

I love dogs. Don't have one right now, but I am drawn mostly to large dogs, like labs. I'm also mesmerized by wolves. The look in their eyes, their independence, and freedom. And now I suppose I love cats as well since I've just adopted a kitty. >^..^< I have always admired lions. Maybe it has something to do with that.
