I have been very lucky and got to travel the world. Well not the entire world but I went more places then I ever thought I would or could go. I've been all over England, Ireland, Scotland, Paris, Amsterdam, Wales, Mexico and my favorite ... AFRICA.

I was born and raised in a small city in Wisconsin. I have three grown children, seven grandchildren & one great granddaughter. I am an official cheesehead Packer fan and proud of it.

I went back to college in my 40's and received my Bachelor's degree. I loved it so much that seven years later I went back and got my Master's degree. My school days are over with unless it is cooking school.

I love to cook and am lucky that I am married to a man who will eat anything. I have been married nearly nine years now and he is a home grown Texan who moved to Wisconsin when we met. Last fall we decided to head south and now reside in Texas.

We added to our family last winter by getting two sheltie pups, brother & sister Isaac and Isabel. They are quite the source of entertainment for us.

I do not miss the sub zero temps of Wisconsin but I do miss the snow at Christmas time. Driving around watching people put up Christmas decorations in their shorts ... now something is wrong with that picture!!
