Not so new at EON, not so new at life. Hoping for the time to figure out everything I think I need to know. Hoping for the wisdom to use what I learn , share what I can, and just enjoy the journey.
I live in the desert, southwest. Beautiful in its' own special, unique way, and ever changing . However, my soul and heart pull me to the ocean. I love the song, Time for a Cool Change, and the music of Jimmy Buffett. I got my first tatoo in Key West. A dolphin, jumping in Capricorn waves . It is on my ankle. Just being by the water, beach, the ocean, is an elixir for the mind, body and soul. Water is great. I love the mountains too. High altitude, low stress . I like using the metal detector. Treasures are everywhere. Just enjoy the hunt. I enjoy hiking in the pines, walking on the beach. Hearing the sound of the wind thru the pine trees, and the sounds of the ocean. I like to take pictures. Old churches, wildlife (that is still ), family and bridges and friends and just most of what you see thru a lens is going to make a great picture. When the memory is not quite so vivid, you have pictures to bring you back. Funny how memories are remembered and retold differently by those involved. Same scenario, different stories from each as they recount it. :)
Memories are so much more precious as we grow older. So remember yours' and enjoy and share them with others, especially the young. That way they can be remembered and retold , and your spirit and essence will always be a part of the coming generations. The Native American people strongly believe in passing down the history and ways of the people. Be part of your own history. Share stories and memories.

My grandfather always told me " don't go tilting windmills " . He went to heaven in Feb. 1981. He is missed. We were very close and great pals too. This is in his honor , RLT 10/26/1906-2/24/1981 
Two of my grandfathers arrived on the Mayflower . Allerton and Brewster. I have been to Plymouth, MA. It is sacred grounds to many. Bittersweet to my Native American ancestry. I did bring home one amazing rock from the site.
We have to fight to Live. Why ? There is room for all . Peace .

There is a road in the hearts of all of us, hidden and seldom traveled, which leads to an unkown, secret place. The old people came literally to love the soil, and they sat or reclined on the ground with a feeling of being close to a mothering power. Their teepees were built upon the earth and their altars were made of earth. The soul was soothing, strengthening, cleansing and healing. That is why the old Indian still sits upon the earth instead of propping himself up and away from its life giving forces. Minerals and stones, rocks all have certain properties. Healing, power, communication, love, all applicable to situations in your life. I have several in my medicine bag and millions all over the house. I collect gems, rocks and crystals & stones .

Birch Beach, Maine....I found the most incredible rock that day . Maine is truly post card beautiful . Rode a really fast bike ride down the Mont Plier Penninsula , fresh lobster, cabin on ten acres, Acadia and so much more...great time, great memories . TY Maine

I have heard "walk a mile in someones' shoes " before you judge them. I don't think it is even possible to truly know what they might be going thru or to, so judge not least ye be judged yourself makes way better sense. May your moccasins walk gently their path upon the earth, you may walk that path again.
