Not much TV here. But I do carry a portable DVD player with 2 extra batteries. I buy entire series when they come out on DVD. Latest acquisitions: MacGuyver, Northern Exposure and Stargate.

Again, all the movies I see are DVD. But I am fond of all James Bond, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean. Actually anything with Johnny Depp or Nicolas Cage.

I like a book that really makes my hair stand up on my neck. Hmmm. Anything Dean Koontz, Robert McGammon, Anne Rice, Peter Straub, Stephen King.

A photographer who traveled with Time Magazine when they were writing a series of articles on Doctors Without Borders. We shared a couple of meals, a few soul-searching conversations, and then went back to our normal lives. Now we do a whole lot of e-mailing.
