You asked what I served for the 4th. We had hot dogs, buns with all the condiments, potato salad, watermelon, coffee, tea & sodas. The program was in the typical form....honoring the flag, honor to our service men & women. Then came the clean-up. The tables were beautifully decorated & had all our important men dedicated the to Declaration of Independence in pictures on the table. It was a beautiful sight to see and all were impressed with the gal responsible for the table layout. There were fireworks @ Ft. Myers Beach, but I didn't go to see them. Lotus.

Hi MiJoAnn,

Thank you for your response to my Elder Hostel question. If I ever travel wiht Elder Hostel, I will have to have a private room. I too, have traveled with some terrible roomates.

P.S. Gettysburg, SD is a tiny town on the eastern side of SD. It is about 150 miles from Bismarck, ND.
