If you don't like the weather here in Western New York, just wait and it'll change! I've lived within walking distance of the Great Lake of Ontario and have seen her in all her magnifcient beauty; gentle and quiet, and a raging maniac of emotions. I've traveled all through the USA camping in a slide-in truck camper with three kids, my now X, and Charley the Dog. Traveled the trans-Canandian highway, been through the lower parts of Ontario, Alberta, and Vancouver provinces. Drove from Brooksville, FLA all the way to the Keys with my life-partner, Peg. Saw alligators up close on the road...! Been to most of the Finger Lakes Wineries and even worked for Widmer for a few years as their Rochester "taster." I've gone on retreats on Strawberry Island in Lake Simcoe, Canada with lots of beautiful nuns, had great conversations with the Basilian brothers that ran the camp before the Pope came to visit and they later closed it down. Travel lots to visit my dearest friend in Old Forge, NY and just love the Adirondack Mts. Life is a challenge and I keep trekking! Great Lake of Ontario

I am a lover of life, a mother, an artist and musician... sometimes a comedian. I have 3 outstanding, creative and successful adult children, and 4 magnificient grandchildren. I am married to a lovely woman who is a Unitarian minister. I collect musical instruments and play Native American flute, piano and drums. I love to write poetry and essays, do journal illustrations and work in my garden, particularly our small fish pond. I am a spiritual director, and spiritual companion to many. I would like to write a children's book or two and maybe publish a book of poetry. I have recently fallen into the grand circle of digital artists on Eons and love it. I've gone back to painting with oils in my studio and plan to paint at least one painting for each of my grandchildren with the hopes they one day will be rich from either enjoying it or selling it!
I am sentimental and talk to my 3 cats, to the birds (especially the crows), and squirrels. (I have a mother and child squirrel that visit me. I take my coffee to the back deck with a few peanuts in my pocket for our shared breakfast.)
I have sailed on the Great Lake of Ontario; I am a cloud watcher.
