A big wildlife and natural history fan, I love to travel, especially to places where I can experience the great outdoors.

I have a background in bio-tech, but nearly 10 years ago, made some changes, embarking on a 6 month journey around the world.  I returned and applied at Earthwatch, for the expedition coordinato position.  I've been her for 5 years and find it allows me to pursue an interest in research, travel and natural history.

Activities

Observing wildlife, traveling, taking pictures. Drinking cosmos with my friends, movie watching, going for walks, listening to music.

Favorite Charities

Earthwatch and Christian Children's Fund. I'm not religious, but CCF has a good reputation. They swear they don't proselytize and they support regardles of the recipient's religion. I "support" a girl in the Philappines and one in Zambia. I shouldn't say "girl" as they are young ladies by now.

Favorite Music

To see my music collection, you would think I expired in 1987, right after Peter Gabriel released "So". I love the Beatles, and have Queen, the Stones, Sting and Elton John on my ipod. I also love Ella Fitzgerald. Need to branch out more. Too lazy.

Favorite TV Shows

The Office, of course. Am also trying to catch up on Sex in the City episodes so I can see the movie.

Favorite Movies

Things that take me places I haven't been to before or really make me laugh. I'm thinking of "places" in the geographical sense, but I suppose other meanings would work as well.

Favorite Books

Natural history or biography. Generally prefer non-fiction. A really honest bio is the best.

Favorite Quotes

Favorite People

My friends (some I've known since I was 9) and my family (some I've known my whole life).

Favorite Places

Anywhere I can see African wildlife in its natural setting, or the Amazon. I also happen to like the Boston/Cambridge area alot.

Favorite Animals

Wild ones. I like anything that likes me, but don't have pets because I travel too much.
