History

Places I've been
Washington, D.C. (Hometown), Born in Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. Grew up in Washington D.C. just 3 blocks from the Capitol. At the age of 12 moved to the burbs in Northern Virginia. I have lived in Richmond; Pennsylvania (Downingtown, Pittsburgh, and Cleona); Saginaw Michigan; Verplanck, New York; then back again to Northern Virginia. I have visited all of the states on the east coast with Ausable Chasm in Upstate New York, Watkins Glen, NY; Blackwater Falls, West Virginia being favorites places. I have been to Illinois and the states in-between. Want to go to the West Coast eventually, I have a long list of places I would like to see.

About me

A 56-year-old female, married 37 years, 3 grown sons and 1 grandson. Work as a medical transcriptionist, so pretty much behind the computer most of the time.  More introvert than extrovert, but never shut any doors out of fear. I like being a part of this universe.

Play the music let it fill the room
And with my dancing feet I remember
A Waltz's lovely glide around a dance floor
Then crank it up a bit with Salsa and Merengue
Tango, Cha-Cha, Charleston, or do the Boogaloo
How about the Wah Watusi, the Twist, or the Frug
Mashed Potato time, to the Skate, or the Jerk
Feet and the body moving to the beat is not work
Then there's the Hustle, The Electric Slide...
Let me not forget Saturday Night Fever...ah Disco
For my country feet there's dancing
The Texas 2-step or the Boot Scootin' Boogie
Then wind it all down with a body you want to be
close to... and slow dance to the music...
